You can earn a total of 8 Ascendancy Points, unlocking potent passives that define your build.
These points are obtained through Trials of Path of Exile 2 Currency Ascendancy: the Trial of the Sekhemas (Act 2) and the Trial of Chaos (Act 3)
Upon completion of that trial’s first difficulty, you unlock your Ascendancy class and gain 2 points.
2nd Ascendancy (4 Points Total)
Earn 2 more points in one of two ways:
Complete Sekhemas Tier 2 (using a Djinn Barya from area level ≥ 45 and completing 2 floors).
Or Chaos Tier 1, running 7 rooms from Inscribed Ultimatum in area level ≥ 60
Completing both Trials' initial levels gives you a combined 4 points if desired.
3rd Ascendancy (6 Points Total)
Options:
Sekhemas Tier 3, area level ≥ 60 with a Djinn Barya that has “Number of Trials: 3”.
Chaos Tier 2, area level ≥ 75, completing 10 rooms in the Inscribed Ultimatum chain
4th Ascendancy (All 8 Points)

Alternate Path Tips
If you do Sekhemas first, you may complete Chaos for points 3 & 4 (and vice versa).
A second Sekhemas run at ≥ level 45 with two floors can serve for the 2nd Ascendancy instead of Chaos
If you’re underleveled, consider over-leveling to ≥ 60 before attempting harder difficulty runs for a smoother experience
Mobalytics
Take time to retrieve higher-tier Djinn Barya or Inscribed Ultimatum coins from random drops in higher-level maps to access advanced trials.
