When you reach mastery levels in New World gold cooking, you unlock benefits that can drastically improve the quality of the food you craft:

Epic Food Quality:

As you master cooking, the likelihood of crafting Epic or Legendary food increases, making your crafted food more valuable for selling on the Trading Post or for personal use in endgame activities.

Special Mastery Bonuses:
